Read this article today and almost lost my breakfast, "JESSICA TARLOV: 11 Biden accomplishments we can't ignore as Trump takes office". As far as "accomplishments" I can't disagree except for her "starter" the cease fire deal which I'm absolutely positive would not have happened without a Trump 2024 victory. As far as the other 10 I see this as a continuation of the democrats' efforts to rewrite history like they rewrite science and biology. The economy is not better and the spike in national debt, inflation and labor figures are proof. COVID was a democratic tool to impact the 2020 election which they doubled down on as a giveaway program which is the only thing they are good at. Interference in the business of healthcare is not an accomplishment but a step toward nationalized health and subsequent reduction is quality of treatment. Already the majority of Americans are no longer seen by a doctor when they need care but a "nurse practitioner". I'm not going to go down the list but to suggest that anything "positive" that may have occurred thru bipartisanship efforts offsets Afghanistan, loss of border control, illegal immigration and student loan forgiveness defying SCOTUS ruling, criminalization of the DOJ, or "last minutes" pardons and other effort to "tie the hands" of the incoming administration is ludicrous. This president and administration are the worse in history, period.

A brilliant proposal about those government loans! Did you mention the idea 💡 to President Trump?!

As I have said many times, the Government should be run like a “business”, instead of sucking on the pockets of taxpayers to justify the waste, greed and the insolvency of our country. We need get serious about the crushing debt and put the country on the path to prosperity.

Here is another example "art of politics", "DOGE caucus plans for biggest impact, eyeing key tools to expedite cutting waste", which contains this quote from the caucus chairwoman, Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, "Biden’s bloat has created a target-rich environment for finding ways to eliminate waste and make the bureaucracy accountable to the people. Now is the time for results, and after today, I feel confident that we have plans in place to serve as the action arm in Congress to deliver for taxpayers." The problem of government waste extends decades beyond "Biden's bloat", presidents do not write spending bills, the time has always been right to cut government excess and waste, and Congress is the root of the problem and always has been. There is not a single person in Congress who truly wants to do what needs to be done. There are a few who want to reduce the deficit but only if the cuts are in someone else's ballpark. No one recognizes that they are the problem, it's always someone else's fault that we overspent our revenue. Fiscal responsibility is a hard bone to chew.

This article, Biden's official X account draws mockery with reference to constitutional amendment that doesn't exist", is sad. Not only does Biden not know how many amendments there are to the Constitution, but he also adamantly affirmed the protection of the sexes, which are two, male and female without even realizing it. At best the democrats have tried to muddy people's minds with "creative" gender definitions which are neither real nor have anything to do with biological sex.

It also proved Biden doesn't even know how to fact check online. ;-)

That said I do wish him well in retirement and I hope he is able to relax and enjoy life.

Your kinder and more forgiving than I am. Biden abused his political office for his and his family's personal gain and if not for his dementia would likely be held responsible for his actions. It's not that I wish bad on him, but I'm not "happy" that justice is not being done.

By all means I think those who were "responsible" for Biden should be held accountable.

And do we wish to start lawfare against that administration? I don't know, I have mixed feelings about that. I kind of think the voters took action last November. The Congress and The Senate took action with no action. The RINO's have to go along with those with TDS.

The American voters are to blame for many of the problems too.

I don't want to belabor the point but the injustice I'm referring to has nothing to do with Trump or the current or past election. Many politicians and I daresay say political appointees and career DC employees receiving moderate official income have enriched themselves by selling Washington insider information. That's the reason Biden's pardon of his son covered over a decade of time and included "any crimes he might have done". That essentially covered Hunter for all the time he was brought into the family business of corruption. Pelosi and her husband are similar examples of the same "information for gain" business, something that Martha Stewart was sent to jail for. The problem is that this "political crime" is so rampant that no one wants to start the legal ball rolling for fear of getting run over themselves. Hunters' independent prosecutor clearly stated his investigation led to Joe as the "leader" but concluded he could never stand trial due to his mental incompetence. Unfortunately, he also concluded that as a result he had to settle with charging Hunter with the comparatively minor offenses of the gun and tax crimes. If Biden wasn't protecting himself and family his Hunter pardon would have been for the gun and tax convictions only. This is the real swamp that needs to get cleaned up.

Saw this article in the news, "'Million Dollar Listing' star says up to 70% of Palisades residents will not return after devastating LA fires", and in the article the person makes the statement (gleaned from his insurance broker) that up to 90% of Palisades residents were "heavily under insured". Reference my earlier post on this subject, when you sell your house for "market price" the buyer is buying the house, lot, and location, including view and anything else considered desirable. Insurance is generally calculated on that same "market price" number, starting with when you made your initial investment and indexed for inflation to some degree. Highly overpriced housing costs mean high insurance premiums which you can lower by reducing coverage. In the fire you lost the house (and belongs for which you also choose the level of coverage) but not the lot, location, view or anything else that is considered desirable. Using the mud slide broken rental house that survived the fire as an example, the owner can do nothing and just sell the lot for $2 million (minus whatever amount was exaggerated for the press) and his only loss is the replacement cost of the house (hardly more than a shack) minus whatever he gets from his insurance if he had any. The point being every effort will be made to overstate the financial loss of this crises to increase compensation. Do not fall for these transparent attempts.

It is too bad that a takes a drug store CEO to finally recognize that democrats and their leadership is nothing but a bunch of garbage. When will everyone, including the RINO's, mentally incompetent democrats, and all the radicals in politics (like Bernie Sanders the know nothing and AOC which I assume stands for Adult Only Crazy) wise up and start letting the people that have a halfway brain in their head allow the country to get back on track of normalcy. I hope it is before every TRUE red blooded American dies of old age waiting for it to happen!

When TikToc first came out, I encouraged my grandchildren not to get involved with it. Of course because I'm old and can't understand the world as it is, they ignored me! I knew enough to know it was from China and they would have access to everything on your phone/tablet.

I also know enough to tell anyone who will listen, that we need to get our pharmaceutical manufacturing back to the United States.

Only 3 more days! It’s like having to wait 9 months for your first grandchild, with great anticipation.

I’m very concerned about Trumps safety on Inauguration Day. I wish he would listen to people like you guys and not do the walk and take the ceremony inside. He has the perfect excuse because it’s going to be freezing cold. The secret service and FBI, et al, can’t be trusted to keep him safe. There are so many foxes in the hen house I wouldn’t trust any of them. I also wish he would get private security until he can sort out the ineptness and evil in these organizations.

And, I would like to see him fire everybody in the White House, including secretaries, on his first day of office. With Democrats vowing to “resist” at every opportunity, nobody can be trusted. Come on Monday!!

Agree wholeheartedly on starting with new people—he had an entire network working against him last time because he tried to be fair and retain people. Not this time!

And I’m also thankful they’ve moved the inauguration indoors.

I agree that the sudden change in wealthy corporations now “liking” President Trump is also a reaction to what the companies dealt with during the past several regimes.

Between Deep State professional politicians and judges with lifetime appointments, companies were very much under the control of the government. Trump will hopefully reverse that. I read Freedom Park Press by D. Parker on SubStack daily, as well as my favorite Huckabee newsletter.

Parker’s historical research into socialism, fascism, Marxism and all the tyrannical theories and practices is very enlightening. He backs up his writing with excellent references as well. What I see has been Corporatism being adopted by the Deep State.

It is described as:

Corporatism became one of the main tenets of Italian fascism, and Benito Mussolini's Fascist regime in Italy advocated the total integration of divergent interests into the state for the common good.

That sounds so much like DEI and all the other terms used by the wokies, and what they were doing.

Sorry for the long post.

I continue to be totally amazed that 170 million people in USA and 7 million business have absolutely no concern that the dictatorship of CCP has unfettered access to every bit of information, personal, financial et. al. in their Tik Tok accounts.

I see that SCOTUS has upheld the TICTOK law, followed by this article, "Kevin O'Leary puts $20B TikTok cash offer on the table: ‘Most interesting, complicated, crazy situation’". I understand the concern but also recognize that our own democratic administration weaponized both social media, legacy media, and the DOJ against Trump and his most faithful supporters. The governments concern about what China might or could do has already been done by them. A good case of the pot calling the kettle black, which seems to be coming a democratic tradition, like Schiff trying to make Bondi swear that she will not politicize the AG's office.
