Saw this tragic article in the news, "15-year-old girl identified as killer in deadly Christian school shooting, police say", and even as prayers go out to the families of the dead and injured the first question that comes to mind is, why? Police Chief Barnes made this comment, "I don’t know why, and I feel like if we did know why, we could stop these things from happening,", wishful thinking with not a spec of reality, and from an adult in law enforcement. Today's kids grow up with violent video games as entertainment and social media as a companion, they see lawlessness rewarded in the news, liberal humanistic philosophy that's created a "triggering mindset" ready to go off at the slightest provocation, consequences of illegal actions delayed or avoided entirely, and behind all of this there is Jeremiah 17:9 - “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” The only question of real importance is where she got the gun? She addressed her just punishment but if there is an accomplice the job of justice is not yet done.
