Kamala in her own words
Question: "When we talk about bringing down prices and making life more affordable for people, what are one or two specific things you have in mind for that?"
Answer: “Well, I'll start with this. I grew up a middle-class kid. My mother raised my sister and me. She worked very hard. She was able to finally save up enough money to buy our first house when I was a teenager. I grew up in a community of hard-working people, you know, construction workers and nurses and teachers. And I try to explain to some people who may not have had the same experience. You know, a lot of people will relate to this. I grew up in a neighborhood of folks who were very proud of their lawn. You know? And, um, and I was raised to believe and to know that all people deserve dignity.”

Trump is considering a trip to Springfield and/or Aurora
Everybody seems to be talking about the Haitian immigrant problems in Springfield, Ohio, and the violent Venezuelan gang members in Aurora, Colorado. But most of the talking, especially from liberal “journalists” and commentators who accuse Trump of lying about these problems, is by people who smugly claim to know what's happening there but who live at least a thousand miles away and haven’t been to either town (John Legend piously lectured the people of Springfield from his Beverly Hills mansion, over 2200 miles away.)
Well, here’s a novel idea: How about actually going to those towns and talking to the people who live there? That’s what Trump says he’s thinking of doing. Maybe that will force the media to go, too, just to cover him. Then they can find out what’s happening first hand and report it, or as that used to be called, “journalism.”
https://www.westernjournal.com/trump-reportedly-set-kamala-harris-wont-visit-springfield-ohio/
Of course, maybe some of them refuse to go find out for themselves because they’re afraid of what they might see (warning: some of you might find this report disturbing):
The big question is, if Trump visits those towns, will Biden or Harris do so as well? Judging from how they’ve avoided East Palestine, Ohio, the Southern border, or anywhere else that’s suffered from their disastrous policies, I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.
Kamala’s response to assassination attempt #2
Kamala Harris is getting raked over the coals for her tepid response to the second assassination attempt on former President Trump. She tweeted, “I have been briefed on reports of gunshots fired near former President Trump and his property in Florida, and I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America.” Talk about a full-throated condemnation of political assassinations.
Commenters were quick to remind her of her many smears of Trump as a racist, dictator and threat to democracy, the exact kind of incendiary rhetoric that encourages unstable people to turn violent. Trump even pointed this out in the debate, in between being “fact-checked” for saying other true things.
Just yesterday, I saw an ad for Harris that implied Trump was a sexual criminal and convicted felon. Add that to the other false claims that he’s a Nazi, an existential threat to democracy, and a “dictator on day one” who will tear up the Constitution, and what message does she think she’s sending to unbalanced people? Why would she even be glad someone like that is safe? (A dead giveaway that it’s all just lies and political theater.)
Remember, this is the man Democrats are prosecuting for inciting violence by telling people to protest “peacefully and patriotically.” Where are the indictments for their blatant and disturbingly successful incitement of political violence?
Speak of the Devil…
And for when you have time, the Trump campaign compiled a long list of Democrats and leftist media figures spouting “dangerous rhetoric” about Trump and Republicans that suggests it would be justified to assault or kill them.
Chaser: J.D. Vance had the perfect response to Hillary Clinton calling for censorship of views she disagrees with and encouraging violence against her political opponents.
Good reason to suspect a “mole” inside the Secret Service
Monday morning, we posed “the” big question arising from this second assassination attempt on President Trump, just two months after the first one: How on earth did this gunman know to be at that particular spot at that particular time --- to set up his personal sniper’s lair just inside a major thoroughfare on the perimeter of the particular golf course where Trump would be playing the sixth hole? That question is even more perplexing today, as it’s been revealed that the gunman got to that location TWELVE HOURS IN ADVANCE.
Not surprisingly, during his radio show on Monday, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino expressed the same fury we were feeling and fretted about that same question. He can’t say with certainty that there’s a mole inside the Secret Service, but it looks that way to him. (More on that below.)
There’s also the possibility that since Trump is under threat from other nations, notably Iran, this odd, disheveled gunman was recruited by spies, likely including a “honeypot.” (He said the same about the first wanna-be assassin, an awkward 20-year-old loner who might have craved female attention. We’re not hearing much about that guy lately, are we?) Bongino notes that the golf course gunman isn’t from the West Palm Beach/Martin County area --- he’s from Hawaii and, previously, North Carolina, where he’d had a rap sheet --- and wonders how this latest gunman came to be familiarized with this golf course if he didn’t have help with this.
As of now, the gunman has been charged with two firearms violations; this is primarily so they can continue holding him while they investigate. One of these charges is for possessing a firearm with an “obliterated serial number.” But before his arrest and detention, if anyone should have been on the Secret Service and FBI’s radar screen, it needed to be this guy. HIs convictions include one in 2002 for possession of a weapon of mass destruction --- a machine gun. Most recently, he wrote a book called UKRAINE’S UNWINNABLE WAR, in which he apparently advised Iran, “You are free to assassinate Trump.”
FBI, the Secret Service and local law enforcement did another press conference Monday afternoon, with FBI Miami Special Agent in Charge Jeffrey B. Veltri saying, “We’re continuing to conduct analysis and will be compiling the subject’s movements in the days and months leading up to September 15th...the subject had an active online presence and we are going through what he posted and any searches he conducted online.”
As former NYPD inspector Paul Mauro told FOX NEWS’ Trace Gallagher late Monday, they’re looking for indications of intent, in order to “bump the charge” to attempted assassination of President Trump. Mauro’s question is the same as ours; he remarked that “no one can figure out” how the gunman knew to be where he was, when he was. Right now, he still thinks the possibility of having inside information is “unlikely” but nevertheless says, “You have to ask yourself, how did he manage that?”
On Sunday, the Secret Service got lucky, and, according to retired FBI Special Agent Maureen O’Connell, “We just cannot rely on luck anymore, because this type of luck never lasts.” As for intent, it’s hard to make sense of his rambling and self-contradictory social media posts and other writings. O’Connell describes these as going “from left to right, up to down, and...you know, he’s just looking for a cause, and running around like a Tasmanian Devil trying to find one.”
But Trump-hate seem to run in the family. As the NEW YORK POST reports, the gunman’s son, 35-year-old Oran Routh, said his father hates Trump like “any reasonable person does.” He insists his father is not violent, which is a pretty tough case to make considering what dear-old-dad appears to have been up to. Even a Trump-hater like Oran might occasionally read NBC NEWS; here’s their report on his dad’s criminal record…
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ryan-routh-custody-trump-golf-club-incident-rcna171225
Oran knows his dad as “a great dude, a nice guy,” a “hard worker and great dad,” and is seemingly unaware of his dad’s rap sheet. “He’s my dad and all he’s had is a couple of traffic tickets, as far as I know.”
The Secret Service really has been depending far too much on luck. Gallagher quoted a state attorney from the 15th Judicial Circuit who had told FOX NEWS, “There have been previous individuals who have taken pictures of the former President while he’s golfing...They’ve gone through the shrubs and been able to poke a camera through the fencing. You would think that perhaps maybe [the Secret Service] would consider someone scoping the perimeter.”
Sure enough, as the NEW YORK POST reported in their headline Monday, “Would-be Trump assassin exploited security hole that Secret Service has known about for years --- and the pictures prove it.” And they have the pictures, because some of them were taken by their own photojournalists.
“They have even taken images --- which require a clear line of sight to the 45th President --- unnoticed through the bushes with telephoto lenses. Some have gotten as close as 75 yards, without so much of a sideways glance from the Secret Service.”
As we discussed Monday, the gunman either “got lucky” in anticipating Trump would be golfing there on Sunday, or he had been apprised of the former President’s schedule (official and/or otherwise) for that day. And beyond that, as Bongino correctly speculated on Monday, the visit to the golf course was characterized by acting Secret Service Director Ron Rowe as an “OTR” --- off-the-record, not officially scheduled --- event. That would seem to be an even harder piece of information to get.
The FBI automatically takes the lead in these investigations. But is the FBI trustworthy in that role? I think the people who still trust the FBI at this point could probably meet in a phone booth, if such things still existed.
FBI whistleblower Steve Friend expressed grave doubt about this to Glenn Beck, pointing out that these are the same people who investigated the Mar-A-Lago raid. In particular, he says that Jeffrey Veltri, the special agent in charge of investigating this latest attempt on Trump’s life was previously in charge of an anti-whistleblower division and, worse, had reportedly had to remove all his anti-Trump posts from his Facebook page.
To help illustrate the culture at the FBI, he reminisces about 2020, when they used “illegal FISA wiretaps” (never mind the mistake in the transcript; FISA is what he means) “...to find out...about the ne’er-do-well son of then-candidate Joe Biden, having a laptop that was already in the FBI’s investigation. And they stood idly by, at 51 intelligence officials saying it was Russian disinformation. And then went to social media companies, that told them it was sensitive information. Essentially to generate a talking point for a presidential debate. You would say that’s a secret police force. Of the republic. We have to control-alt-delete it.”

Clearly, others will have to investigate both this attempt and the Butler, Pennsylvania, shooting, and those investigators need all the cooperation they can get from whistleblowers who are disgusted by what they’ve seen. Of course, one reason Democrats are so desperate to win in November is so they can shut down all GOP-led congressional committees, leaving the FBI to write final reports.
https://www.glennbeck.com/radio/whistleblower-agent-investigating-trump-assassination
On the other hand, an internal Secret Service report on the Butler shooting is quite scathing. Among many astonishing slip-ups, it did find that agents never instructed local police to secure that rooftop. Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle say they’re “appalled” by the security failures.
For when you have time, Bongino’s Monday podcast delves into numerous questions and curiosities about the gunman and discusses the possibility of a mole inside the failing agency. He also feels that this gunman was probably “part of some larger network.” The GoPro camera found at the scene might be a clue to this; why was it important for him to record his crime?
Finally, get ready for some strong stuff from John Nolte at BREITBART NEWS, who says the corporate media are “still suffering PTSD from 2016 when Donald Trump was given a three-percent chance of beating Hillary Clinton and then beat her.” He notes how quick they were after the first attempt on Trump’s life two months ago to go back to talking about him in the very ways that incite violence against him. Unbelievably, they’re already blaming Trump for this second attack on his own life.
Nolte is convinced the media want him murdered and accuses them of sending out an “assassination dog whistle”: “If you kill Trump on our behalf, we will blame HIM, not YOU. In fact, you will be an American hero.”
We’d add one thing: Trump has simply got to have his own private security, and hang the cost. Yes, he’s already had to pay well over $50 million for his legal defense against all the lawfare thrown at him, but his life is...priceless.
RELATED: As expected, the media and several prominent Democrat politicians continued covering themselves in mud by reacting to the SECOND assassination attempt on Trump in eight weeks without showing a molecule of basic human decency. I’m not going to quote them all, because frankly, there are too many, from MSNBC to Politico, and I don’t have a strong enough stomach. But their comments ranged from blaming Trump for his “rhetoric” (i.e., if he says critical things about his political opponents who tar him to their unhinged followers as Hitler, a dictator and a threat to democracy, obviously, they have no choice but to murder him) to downplaying the incident to question whether it was really an assassination attempt to pulling the “Republicans pounce” schtick and try to make the GOP’s reaction the story instead of the attempted murder of their political opponent.
Here's a typical quote from Politico that combines the latter two: Republicans are “responding to what could have been a second attempt with a mixture of defiance, outrage and unsubstantiated blame."
How did a once respectable political party sink so low to become a banana republic utilizer of goon squads? I warned that this was the direction we were headed when Antifa faced no consequences for burning, rioting and attacking cops in 2020. That sent the message that it was open season for leftist political violence, and it’s rapidly worsened.
We now have political opponents being targeted for prison or even murder, Democrats openly cheering that on, and campuses where privileged Americans, including utterly deluded women and gays, cheer for the murderers and rapists of Hamas to eradicate Israel from the face of the Earth. Was this the “return to normalcy” we were promised if Biden-Harris was elected?
In this MUST-READ column, Derek Hunter of Townhall.com traces the horrifying evolution of the Democrats and their media minions over the past few years and warns that if we ever want to turn this around and restore our tradition of civil discourse, trustworthy elections and the peaceful transfer of power, there is only one way to do it: In the next election, the Democrats can’t just lose, they have to be kicked so far out of power that they learn Americans will no longer tolerate it, and so they can’t retain enough power to stop necessary reforms from being enacted to end it.
The truth hurts when it bites you in the rump:
The State of Palestine posted a heart-tugging mosaic of photos of innocent Palestinian teenagers allegedly killed in the West Bank by the brutal Israelis. It was discovered that four of the photos were stills from a Hamas Islamic Jihad video and two of the teenagers are actually holding machine guns in the photos.

Interesting article
Interesting article on how the Harris campaign is trying to walk a tightrope of publicly supporting Israel while not angering its radical anti-Semitic voting bloc. Now, Republicans are shining a light on that truth, which I’m sure the Dems think is horribly unfair. It's also worth reading for the quotes from some of the Arab Muslim Democrats in Michigan, who when speaking off-camera, didn’t try to hide that they are Jew-hating nutjobs who support Hamas, want the Democrats to stop condemning anti-Semitism, and want to see Israel eradicated from the face of the Earth.

Good News For Real Justice:
In light of the Supreme Court ruling that the Biden DOJ illegally stretched the law to charge January 6th defendants with obstruction of justice, the DOJ has dropped the charge in nearly half the pending cases and declined to oppose vacating the charge in nearly a third of the cases that were already tried. Nice start, now how about following the law in all of them?
I heard an excellent observation about this subject: Democrats have already forgotten about the first Trump assassination attempt that nearly killed Trump, did kill one of his supporters and hospitalized two others – but four years later, they’re still going on about January 6th as if it was the worst political violence in history when, again, the only person who died was an unarmed Trump supporter whom they don’t care about.
Soros-funded group takes credit
It seems that the turnaround time on something going from being a crazy rightwing conspiracy theory (COVID lab leak, Hunter’s laptop, population replacement, etc.) to being proven true is getting shorter. Those earlier ones took three or so years. The one where the DOJ claimed last week to be completely apolitical and that the White House has nothing to do with local DAs targeting Trump with lawfare is already falling apart. That’s partly thanks to a Soros-funded group that elects leftwing DAs who release criminals and prosecute political opponents actually taking credit for Alvin Bragg's prosecution of Trump.
And by the way: Their representative has visited the Biden/Harris White House at least five times and possibly as many as 16 times.
Clueless
I normally don’t cover political statements made by leftwing celebrities because they’re usually so ill-informed as to be laughable, plus they’re about as newsworthy as “Dog barks.” But every so often, a celebrity makes a statement that’s so unbelievably clueless, that practically screams “I live in a bubble of privilege that makes Marie Antoinette look like Little Orphan Annie,” that I just have to share it.
And so, here’s the video that soul/pop star John Legend released of him in his bathrobe in his multi-million-dollar Beverly Hills mansion, piously lecturing people in his hometown of Springfield, Ohio, about how they should be welcoming the tens of thousands of Haitians who are destroying their town.
Legend scolded them that “Nobody’s eating cats, nobody’s eating dogs” (he can tell from Beverly Hills, apparently), but he admits the town is feeling “growing pains” due to the arrival of all the people with a “new language, new culture” and “new dietary preferences.” That might be the most inadvertently funny phrase of the day. “I’m not eating your cat, I just have different dietary preferences!”
He admonished residents to welcome “immigrants moving to our communities and don’t spread hateful, xenophobic, racist lies about them.”
As you might imagine, the reaction online from people who are actually living in Springfield was swift and furious. A common theme was that Legend has an awful lot of room in his giant mansion, so when is he going to let a few hundred unassimilated Haitians move in with him and his family? I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that.
