Lower Gas prices?!?
If you notice gas prices dropping a bit just before the election, don’t be suckered in. Having declared war from day one on America’s energy independence and depleted our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to artificially lower sky-high gas prices before the last election, President Biden is desperate to find another way to temporarily lower gas prices and fool the rubes one more time. This is what Democrats have landed on:
Tuesday, the White House announced that it was releasing a million barrels of gasoline from the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve in 100,000-barrel increments. That little-known reserve holds only one million barrels, and it was created by Obama in 2014 in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, as a safety net in case of another natural disaster. I guess they figure Biden is a walking natural disaster, so why not use it to deal with him?
Just remember, and tell everyone you know who might be susceptible: If it works to lower gas prices, it’s only a short-term con job. Prices will go right back up again after the people responsible are safely reelected, only then, we won’t have the gasoline reserve. So don’t fall for it. It’s sort of like trying to pay off a huge credit card bill that grows larger each month by selling your blood.
Long-Overdue Good News:
The co-owners of a gym in New Jersey who were hit with 80 charges and $165,000 in fines for not complying with the COVID-era shutdown orders have finally been cleared of all charges. Yes, that’s right: it took THIS LONG, and nobody even knows how much in legal fees, but the government’s attempt to bully them into submission over a pandemic that ended nearly four years ago is finally over.
Warning: One of the gym owners had a defiant message for Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy that I would not repeat here. Just imagine what a New Jersey gym owner would say under these circumstances, and you’ll probably be pretty close.

If giving a single customized beer can to Dylan Mulvaney permanently crippled Bud Light, what do you think the backlash might be against Oreo cookies for fervently embracing an LBGTQ group that’s actively fighting state measures to protect kids from “trans” medical butchery and pushes such procedures for children as young as three?

Bill Maher is absolutely right
For those who wonder why I still occasionally defend Bill Maher, even though we disagree wildly on many issues, this might explain it. He’s promoting a new book, so he actually went on “Gutfeld!” on Fox News, becoming the first big name liberal comedy/talk host to appear on the real #1 show in late night that the rest of the media pretend doesn’t exist. And while there, he criticized Biden for ruining the Morehouse College commencement with his outdated racism rhetoric that no longer applies in modern America.
Then, in a booking that must’ve induced whiplash, he spent the following morning on “The View,” schooling the screeching leftist hosts on how it’s more important to give your honest opinion to viewers than to cover up for your preferred candidate and how you don’t win people over to your side by calling all of your opponents’ supporters “nazis” and hating half the country.
Bill is absolutely right, and I would like to clarify once again that I would never call all Democrats “nazis.” Just the ones who are painting swastikas on walls and calling for killing Jews.
Well, That Was Awkward:
Video went viral of rapper Cam’ron being booked onto CNN to talk about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged abuse of his girlfriend. Whoever booked him might be looking for a new job.
On the other hand, CNN books James Clapper as a “trusted” policy analyst, so it could be worse.
Dershowitz speaks out
Harvard law professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz was in the front row for the Trump trial in New York Monday, and he had some choice comments on Judge Merchan’s conduct.
He said Merchan made rulings that were “absurd” and “an outrage,” that he went “berserk” at defense witness Robert Costello, and “any first-year evidence student would understand that he was making biased rulings in favor of one side.” He said, “This judge has committed more reversible errors in the one day I was in the courtroom than I've seen in years and years of practicing law.” And as for whether Costello showed contempt for his rulings, Dershowitz quoted an old Mae West joke: When a judge asked if she was trying to show contempt for the court, Mae replied, “No, Your Honor, I'm trying my best to hide my contempt for the court.”
I’m glad to see Prof. Dershowitz doesn’t have that problem.
Interesting proposal from Derek Hunter
Attention, various leftist useful idiots from Harvard to Hollywood who are demanding a ceasefire in Gaza:
I’ve been telling you for months that if Hamas wanted to end the war and all civilian casualties, they would simply release their hostages and surrender. Instead, they hide among and behind civilians, ensuring there will be civilian deaths because to them, anti-Israel PR is more important than Palestinian lives. This should have been obvious even to the most slightly intelligent person, but Harvard and Hollywood don’t have the highest entry standards these days. So maybe this will help them to get it:
It's an article by a Palestinian columnist writing in Arabic in a Qatari newspaper and telling the world, “We do not want a ceasefire, we want ongoing war.”
I hope that’s clear enough for even a Harvard administrator to understand, and I hear they aren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer.
Terrible decision
This shouldn’t shock anyone, but after flipping in the last election to a 4-3 liberal majority, the Wisconsin Supreme Court just issued a terrible decision against Catholic charities that’s a major blow to all faith-based charity groups and to religious freedom in general. Details are at the link. I won’t go into them here because I’m certain I’ll have to write more about this when it gets to the US Supreme Court, where the Bill of Rights still holds a majority.
Out in the open
Remember when it was popular to laugh at the quaint, old-fashioned fuddy-duddies who thought that the protests on America’s college campuses were secretly being organized by undercover communist revolutionaries? Well, those days are long gone. Today’s campus protests are being organized by communist revolutionaries who are right out in the open about being communist revolutionaries.
How Soros is spending his money
One surefire hallmark of the left is that when they give a pious-sounding name to their organizations, you can bet the real purpose is the exact opposite. For instance, any leftist group with the phrase “women’s health care” is virtually assured to be a pro-abortion lobby, and you can bet that any groups with words like “defending democracy” or “election integrity” in their names are working overtime to make our elections less fair and secure. So when I tell you that leftwing organizations with names like “Free Press” have received $80 million from America-hating socialist billionaire George Soros, what would you guess that money is being used for?
Correct! According to the Media Research Center, the funds are going towards pressuring social media to censor the voices of at least half of Americans who aren’t on board with the left’s radical agenda leading up to the election.
